The ÖTI – Institut für Ökologie, Technik und Innovation GmbH [Institute for Ecology, Technology and Innovation] is an internationally recognised, independent testing body with extensive expertise in textiles. We offer a wide range of testing services in our new, modern laboratories.

The Institute is an expert partner for testing and analysis, monitoring, quality assurance and certification. Our range of standard tests incorporates hundreds of procedures. We also have a comprehensive collection of norms which means we can match our tests to the requirements of a wide range of organisations. The ÖTI is an accredited testing and certification body for many of these tests which are required for official submissions. Accreditation is awarded by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Economics, Family and Youth.

The ÖTI also develops and constructs testing equipment and laboratory systems for various textile applications, both on its own behalf and for customers. As well as producing them itself, some of the equipment developed is produced under licence by leading manufacturers for the ÖTI.
